"Research is formalized curiosity. It is poking and prying with a purpose." -Zora Neale Hurston

I am interested in three major avenues of research, but have been known to get excited about almost anything and everything:
  1. Adaptive landscape genetics of native pollinators, especially bumble bees
  2. Biology and ecology of carrion-breeding insects in decomposition ecology
  3. Causes and consequences of sex determination and sexual dimorphism

Please check out my Blog, where I'll be talking about insects, research, and other science-related topics that catch my interest. And you can find out more about what's going on with me and my research currently over at News.
